What are the production lines of Wiraraja Manufacturing?

Wiraraja Manufacturing is one of Wiraraja Indonesia’s business pillars consisting of 2 film line manufacturing activities:

Blown Film Line:

PE/PP bag, Agriculture film, Electronics Cover, Furniture Cover, Recycle bag, Recycle Pellets, and Biodegradable Plastic

Cast Film Line:

Stretch Film/Stretch Wrap

Are your manufacturing products recyclable?

Yes, stretch films and PE bags produced by Wiraraja Manufacturing are recyclable plastics. Our cast film line’s (stretch film) materials are made from 100% virgin resins with linear low density which offers sustainability in packaging.

Is the blown film line and cast film line customizable?

Yes, we manufacture our blown film line and cast film line products based on our customer’s product specifications.

Does Wiraraja Manufacturing provide product samples?

Yes, we provide samples to potential customers based on the agreed terms, including product specifications and MOQ.

What is stretch film?

Stretch Film is a thin and stretchable plastic film used to secure goods or case boxes on a pallet. As the stretch film is wrapped around the pallet and/or other goods with diverse shapes, the film stretches and creates tension. This tension creates force to load, creating a pallet stability allowing the goods to remain intact and secure.

What types of stretch film does Wiraraja Manufacturing produce?

We produce Hand Wrap and Machine Wrap.

Hand wrap is utilised by hand (manually) or a hand dispenser to wrap the pallet. Machine wrap is applied by semi or fully automatic pallet wrapping machines. Both of these stretch film types depend on the product applications and purpose, from stabilising loads during storage and transport to protect the goods from external environment.

What is the difference between blown stretch wrap and cast stretch wrap?

The difference lies in the manufacturing process and the output characteristics. Blown stretch film is produced when molten plastic is pushed through a round die and inflated with air to create a large hollow cylinder of plastic. The temperature and amount of air gives the film its properties. The cylinder is then cut in half and the sheets wound around a core.

Blown film is biaxially oriented, offering superior puncture resistance and stretches in both directions. This type of film is good for unusual shaped and C-type loads applications.

Cast film is produced by pushing molten plastic through a flat die onto a chilled roller. The resins used and rate of cooling give the film its stretch properties. Thereafter, the film is wound around a core.

The cast process mainly produces superior quality with more uniform gauge and results in a higher tear resistance than the blown film process. This type of process also yields a high-clarity film with a more consistent cling distribution.

In Wiraraja Manufacturing, we offer a stretch film/stretch wrap with a cast process.

Does thicker (gauge/micron) stretch film mean it is stronger?

Thicker stretch film does not necessarily mean a stronger performance in puncture resistance and stretch/elasticity. The performance of stretch film is determined by the resin formulations. You may consult with us regarding your needs in thickness and film performance.
